On October 14, 2008 the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) announced a new program that provides full, unlimited FDIC insurance.

1st Century Bank has voluntarily joined this program to provide a safe and sound financial solution for you. In addition, by participating in TLGP, the Temporary Liquidity Guarantee Program, we can provide unlimited FDIC insurance on all checking accounts and NOW accounts for individuals, sole proprietors, non-profit organizations and selected others through the end of 2010.
